MERSEYSIDE music development project Country Roots 6LV is developing links with American radio.
The project aims to strengthen the city's country music scene to create a base for the creation, production and commercial exploitation of the genre.
Project leader Mike Swift is this week welcoming Dory Hayman who is the creative director for a cluster of radio stations in Maryland. The project has support from the University of Liverpool and the North West Regional Development Agency.
