MERSEYSIDE video gaming and digital content firms are being urged to fight for funding to help them get more competitive.
Screen agency Northwest Vision and Media (NWVM) wants companies to bid for grants from the Regional Attraction Fund (RAF), which aims to back companies with strong growth strategies.
The fund is accepting bids until March, 2010, from companies either based in the North West or wanting to move here.

TWO Liverpool agencies have been named on the Central Office of Information's new PR roster for the North West.
It means The roster, which came into force this month, means Wirral agency ICE and Liverpool-based Bell Pottinger North will be able to compete for government and public sector work without undergoing a lengthy procurement process for each contract.
