Paver Smith plots further expansion in 2009
MARKETING and PR agency Paver Smith is planning further expansion in 2009 after seeing turnover soar in 2008.
The Liverpool-based company, which has more than 70 clients, achieved a turnover of £1.8m in 2008 - up from £1.2m last year.
The company's growth in 2008 was helped by the acquisition of rival Factory Communications, in May. The company, led by managing director Dougal Paver, now has 34 staff.
New clients secured in the last quarter include Southport Flower Show, solicitors the Paul Rooney Partnership, and Alphacare Northwest.
Director Martyn Best said: "We're now completing our second full year of trading and to post a 50% increase in turnover in the current market says a lot about the strength of our team.
"We continue to innovate and invest in our management, giving us a strong platform for further growth. A similar rate of increase has to be our target for 2009, and we have a number of plans in motion which we're confident will help us achieve this."
