Deisgn experts to offer business advice
SIX Merseyside design experts will be addressing an event next week to help the region's creative firms win new business despite the recession.
Design Initiative is holding a portfolio day next Wednesday at Static, in Roscoe Street, Liverpool.
It has recruited six experts from the worlds of fashion, digital, graphic and product design to give people tips on how to improve their product portfolios.

The event will feature Alan Herron, creative director at True North, Wini Tse, creative director at Code Computerlove, David Smith, director of Innovation Works, Dick Mawdsley, director of Utility, designer Kirsty Doyle and Joanne Watkinson, head buyer at MyWardrobe.com.
Design Initiative development director Sarah Elderkin said: "Merseyside has an abundance of design talent. This event is about helping those with less experience pick up tips from established creative firms so they can compete with the very best for new work."
