Twestival fans want more Merseyside Twitter events
LIVERPOOL Twitter users are eagerly awaiting their next social gathering after the success of the city's first Twestival.
The event on Thursday saw dozens of users of the social networking service meet face-to-face for the first time at Leaf Tea Shop and Bar.
Twitter allows people to post short messages online about what they are doing. Celebrity users include Stephen Fry.
Last Thursday saw Twitter users organise Twestivals in cities throughout the world to raise money for Charity:Water which aims to deliver clean, safe drinking water to developing countries.
The Liverpool event, which included an auction and live music from 6ix Toys and The Lapis, raised over £500. Now organisers and other Merseyside Twitterers hope to hold more similar gatherings in the future.
Prizes were donated by organisations including Liverpool School of Audio Engineering, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and Circo.
In her blog on the event at m8nd1.blogspot.com, joint organiser Mandy Phillips said: "Organising Twestival was an amazing experience, from initial gathering of expressions of interest through to receiving fantastic positive feedback from all involved - it has been challenging, great fun, and helped the local Twitter community to really bond.
"The support and generosity of Twitter folk has been quite staggering in the current financial climate, and reinforced my feeling that communities really can change the world!"

Hopefully the many twitter users in Liverpool will be interested in the next Open Street Map mapping party that we're hoping to plan for sometime in the next few months. Information about the previous one and about the project in general can be found here:

I think that there's not a good idea to create the academic essay by your own efforts! I think, that would be better to order the term paper thesis from paper writing service, because it will save free time.
