How not to launch an event?
EVERYONE in the world of marketing and PR knows how important a good launch can be.
If you launch your product or event with a 'bang', the momentum can carry you forward for a long time.
But according to my Daily Post colleague Alex Turner, it's a lesson the Rugby League International Federation still needs to learn.

Timing is everything when it coms to launching major events - how could they have got it wrong? Have a look at Alex's views on his Show Me The Money blog.
Looking at "spin" of a different kind, have a look at David Bartlett's Dale Street Blues and his analysis of David Cameron's "rude word" gaffe.
