PR agency Paver Smith sees turnover grow 53%
LIVERPOOL PR firm Paver Smith says its revenues grew 53% in the six months to June and says it is talking to more than 50 potential new clients.
But the agency has adjusted its turnover projection for the year from ã2.8m to ã2.5m as the market continues to tighten.

It says recent client gains including The National Lottery and tyre retailer blackcircles.com have helped it to continue its growth despite the tough climate.
The agency secured 10 new client wins in the first half, with a contracted annualised revenue of more than ã500,000.
Managing director Dougal Paver, pictured, said: "We're talking to more than 50 businesses about ã1.2m of work, so our pipeline is strong and we remain cautiously optimistic about the second half.
"People are taking longer to make buying decisions, although we are beginning to see a slight upturn in optimism."
Director Martyn Best said: "This is an encouraging performance in a very difficult market and a credit to the team.
"Our focus on staff development remains key to our performance and we shall continue to invest strongly in this part of our operation."
Paver Smith has also expanded through acquisition. In January it bought Manchester rival Stripe Communications while last year it bought Liverpool PR agency Factory Communications.
