Slideshow: MediaCity topping out
THE developers of the ã500m MediaCity project in Salford Quays have marked a major milestone by holding a topping-out ceremony at the Studio Block South Tower.
Speaking to me at the ceremony Alice Morrison, chief executive of Northwest Vision and Media, said the project offered great opportunities for Liverpool creative firms as it would allow them to take advantage of having BBC commissioning editors based just a few miles away.
Here are some pictures I took of the ceremony, the views from the 19th floor and some more views of the massive complex that is set to change the face of the region's media sector.
