Superlambanana gets new website
LIVERPOOL artistic icon the Superlambanana now has its own website.
Super Lambanana Ltd, which is now selling ceramic models of the sculpture, commissioned the site from city centre design company T34 Design.
The site includes photography from city designers Coldlight. Legal advice was provided by city practice Chime Legal.
Mal MacKenzie of T34 Design said: "It is very exciting to be working alongside such an iconic symbol of Liverpool and a strong new business."
The Superlambanana, designed by Japanese artist Taro Chiezo, arrived in Liverpool in 1998 and has become a much-loved symbol of the city.
In February council leader Warren Bradley, culture supremo Phil Redmond and Mr Chiezo signed a deal to keep the Superlambanana in the city for at least another 80 years.
