Creative industry bosses get networking
SUPPORT agency Northwest Vision and Media (NWVM) is holding a networking event for leaders of Liverpool's creative and digital businesses.
It is hosting the free "Leadership Launch Pad" session on Tuesday, September 8, at the Bluecoat in Liverpool city centre.
The free evening event is being held to highlight the LEAD (Leading Enterprise and Development) programme for businesses, supported by the Northwest Development Agency.
Lynn Kelly, head of skills at NWVM, said: "This session will provide digital and creative business owners with the opportunity to listen to the experiences of local companies and share their own challenges."

This is all very nice. My son who is 24yrs old went into a job on leaving school, car mechanic, not a job he wanted to do.
Went and paid for a course in Manchester approx 3500 to be a sound engineer, got his diploma. Cannot get a job anywhere. He is even helping out in the Cavern Club for free so he can gain experience that has now been 9 mths ago.
Now has a job in clerical (not what he wants).
This site is going to fill peoples heads with hope, dreams etc but at the end of the day there are no jobs in this profession. It is not what you know it is who you know and he has actually been told that.
So give people the chance who have already got their diplomas and give them a job and not plough money into a system and site of false hope
