Rippleffect creates SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora The Explorer games
LIVERPOOL digital marketing agency Rippleffect has created two online games based around children's characters Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants.
The firm, owned by Daily Post parent Trinity Mirror, was commissioned by Paramount Pictures to create the games for online retail giant Amazon.co.uk to promote its Nickelodeon store and encourage user interaction.

The games, aimed at four to eight-year-olds, were designed to showcase Nickelodeon's latest releases and special offers and encourage users to visit Amazon's standalone Nickelodeon store.
Rippleffect created the Dora the Explorer puzzle game to fit with Nickelodeon's promise to encourage pre-schooler's to 'play, laugh and learn' with Dora, while also complementing the programme which regularly follows the character on puzzle solving journeys.
The Spongebob SquarePants game challenges visitors to match pairs of cards with all the different SpongeBob characters on.
Ben Hayward, creative director at Rippleffect, said: "Gaming is very popular among Paramount Pictures' younger audience and the new content on Amazon offers a varied and exciting addition to its user experience.
"Its content is immersive, provides a challenge to capture the audience's attention and ensures users spend more time on the site. This in turn has a positive impact on sales as potential customers are alerted to the latest releases and special offers."
