THE managing director of digital agency Mando Group has launched a new EP to raise money for the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
Ian Finch recorded "The Love EP" under his musical pseudonym Finchley and has released it as a digital download in aid of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Haiti Appeal.

VIDEO games trade association TIGA has warmly welcomed the announcement in today's Budget that the Government planned to introduce tax relief for the sector.
Video gaming is a major industry in Merseyside, with leading firms from Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Europe to Bizarre Creations employing hundreds in the region.
TIGA has been calling for the Government to give developers tax breaks to ensure talent remains in this country, rather than going to countries such as Canada where tax breaks are offered.

MERSEYSIDE users of social networking website Twitter are gathering in the Albert Dock's trendy Pan Am bar next Thursday for Liverpool's third "Twestival" festival.

MY COLLEAGUE David Bartlett posted this interesting blog yesterday on how Liverpool must keep up with Manchester in the battle for digital investment. There's also an interesting comment from Liverpool developer Adrian McEwen.
This is an interesting point- Liverpool is verty proud of its digital and creative sectors, but Media City means Manchester could race ahead. Share your thoughts here!
