The event, held for the first time last year, brings together users of the microblogging service to raise money for charity Concern Worldwide.
The Liverpool event is one of hundreds being organised worldwide in aid of Concern, which supports people living in extreme poverty around the world.
The event also includes a raffle, with prizes donated by businesses including fashion website ASOS, Liverpool's Everyman Theatre and Cromwells Restaurant in Wirral.
Organiser now want local businesses to sponsor the event.
Twitter allows its users to post short messages, called tweets, about what they are doing. Each message can only be 140 characters long.
Celebrity users of the service include Jonathan Ross, cyclist Lance Armstrong and comedian David Mitchell.
Liverpool Twestival organiser Pauline Cox said: "This event is a great networking opportunity - you can get to meet people from students and professionals to people who own their own businesses. We've got some great prizes lined up already, including food and nights out, and more will be announced as we get them."
Raffle prizes include a ã250 voucher for online department store Very.
Ms Cox said she was still keen to hear from anyone interested in sponsoring the event or providing raffle prizes. She said: "This is a great opportunity to gain publicity and exposure within Liverpool's growing Twitter community and beyond."
Liverpool band Man Get Out, which recently won the Glastonbaby Battle of The Bands contest at Baby Blue, will be performing.
