Call for Ignite Liverpool presenters

THE organisers of "geek culture" celebration Ignite Liverpool ( Twitter hashtag #igniteliv )are hunting speakers for their August event.

Ignite sees speakers give five-minute presentations on subjects close to their hearts. To keep their speeches short they must use 20 on-screen slides that advance automatically every 15 seconds.
As one event organiser said, this is a potential speaker's "opportunity to become a rock star for five minutes."
The next event will be held on Thursday, August 5, at a venue yet to be confirmed. To find out how you can become a speaker - and to see videos of previous speakers - click here.
