BUSINESS communications specialist Pescado has pledged to grow to £10m turnover within three years.
The company, which provides businesses with telecoms, IT and cloud and hosted services, now has a turnover of £4m, but aims to more than double in size through acquisitions and organic growth.
EDUCATION technology firm Autology World has signed a deal with Microsoft it hopes will lead it to rapid growth.
Daresbury-based Autology has developed a software system for schools that brings together content from the web with digital versions of textbooks from leading publishers.
Now Microsoft has been chosen as a Microsoft Learning Suite partner, meaning a "lite" version of its software will be available on hundreds of thousands of PCs in schools across the UK. Other Learning Suite partners include Oxford University Press and Encyclopaedia Britannica.
